Merrick, Inc., Focus of Economic Case Study Showing 3 to 1 ROI

Ramsey County program for adults with disabilities is a stimulus to the local economy

Vadnais Heights – August 7, 2012– Merrick, Inc., (www.MerrickInc.org) is a local nonprofit based in Vadnais Heights with the mission to empower adults with disabilities through vocational and social opportunities, and to guide them toward realizing their goals and dreams. As a business partner to over 70 area companies, we are proud to announce the publication of a study by Dr. C. Ford Runge, a local economist and parent of a Merrick client, demonstrating that for every $1 in state and local funds, Merrick “gives back” $3 in local economic stimulus.

Partnering with Merrick by hiring a client or crew to work at your business, outsourcing work for clients to complete at our facility, or contacting us about recycling, document destruction, or paper sales is not only the right thing to do from a social standpoint, but also benefits the local economy.
