Plan Your Visit

We believe the best way to determine whether Merrick, Inc., is the right fit for you or your loved one is to experience it firsthand. To help you make an informed decision, we offer tours of our Work Services Program on Tuesdays and our Life Enrichment Program on Wednesdays. To be added to our waitlist, a tour must be completed with the prospective client in attendance.

When planning your visit, please review the services provided at each location to determine which program is best suited for you. If you are seeking Independent Employment Services, please submit an application, and you will be contacted by a member of Merrick’s I-Team.

Things to Consider Before Touring

Here are some things to consider before booking a tour.

1. Individuals under the age of 25 who are seeking on-site employment services will need to complete Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) before they can be considered for these services.
2. Individuals with support needs or program interests that do not align with any of our current openings will be added to our waitlist for future consideration. While anyone is welcome to tour, our current openings are primarily for the options below:
   • 1:8 ratio in Utility Services (Learn more at https://merrickinc.org/prevocational/)
   • 1:5 or 1:6 ratio in Life Enrichment (Learn more at https://merrickinc.org/life-enrichment/)
3. When planning your tour, keep in mind that prospective clients must be accompanied by a support staff, guardian, or case manager.
4. Tour reservations should be made for only one prospective client per selected time slot. If a reservation includes two prospective clients, we will contact you to request that separate tours be scheduled for each individual.
