Plan Your Visit

We believe that the best thing you can do to help you decide whether Merrick, Inc., is the right fit for you or your loved one is to see it firsthand. To assist in making an informed decision, we offer tours for prospective clients and their support team by request, available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. To be added to our waitlist, a tour must be completed with the prospective client in attendance.

Merrick has two program sites: Life Enrichment and Work Services. When planning your visit, please review the list of services provided at each site to determine which program is best suited for you. If you are seeking Independent Employment Services, please complete an application at www.merrickinc.org/admissions, and someone from our I-team will contact you regarding your application.

Things to Consider Before Touring

Here are some things to consider before booking a tour.

1. Individuals under the age of 25 who are seeking on-site employment services will need to complete Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) before they can be considered for these services.
2. Individuals with support needs or program interests that do not align with any of our current openings will be added to our waitlist for future consideration. While anyone is welcome to tour, our current openings are primarily for the options below:
   • 1:4 ratio in Alternative Services (Learn more at https://merrickinc.org/prevocational/)
   • 1:5 or 1:6 ratio in Life Enrichment (Learn more at https://merrickinc.org/life-enrichment/) ‘
3. When planning your tour, keep in mind that prospective clients must be accompanied by a support staff, guardian, or case manager.
